Arsenal ‘expected to make official bid’ for signing – Transfer getting to serious stage

Four days ago, Akşam stated Arsenal are ‘seriously interested’ in signing Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey.

It was also explained that the right-back is one of the candidates who could leave the Turkish club in the summer.

Fotomaç have backed up Arsenal’s interest in the 22-year-old and then explained their plan to acquire his services.

The Frenchman has managed a goal and three assists from 30 games this season, and his displays have attracted attention from the Gunners and other clubs. VfL Wolfsburg have recently decided to take action for him in the next window.

It’s claimed Wolfsburg, Arsenal and Crystal Palace, are ‘expected to make an official bid’ for the fullback after the end of this season.

Boey has a deal lasting until 2025 and the report states the Istanbul club are expected to collect at least €15m including bonuses from his sale.

According to Fotomaç, Boey ‘will leave’ Galatasaray in the summer window. It needs to be seen if it’ll be for Arsenal or another club.

Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu have been the two right-backs at the Emirates this season. Boey’s arrival would increase competition, unless one of the former two were to leave Arsenal.
