Liverpool are one of a number of clubs keen on signing Timo Werner, according to this week’s edition of SportBild and their transfer special.
Jurgen Klopp’s team join the Manchester clubs, Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Juventus on the list. That’s quite some pack to be chasing the RB Leipzig striker.
Liverpool are routinely linked with any top transfer prospect in the Bundesliga, and Werner has already done enough to see his potential value go through the roof.
SportBild believe it could take as much as €120m to convince RB Leipzig to sell in the summer window, and that position will only be strengthened if the 21 year old manages to impress for Germany at the World Cup.
There’s no further information from SportBild on Liverpool’s interest, but it’s stated Werner is so popular among Europe’s biggest clubs that he’s getting ‘almost daily requests’ about a transfer.
