Relatively recently bought by Rocco B. Commiso, an Italian American billionaire who made his money through Mediacom, a cable television provider in the United States, Fiorentina were set for a good summer on the transfer market.
They have a bit more money than before, they were planning on keeping some of their best talent if they could (like Federico Chiesa and Giovanni Castrovilli) and they were also thinking about reinforcing their squad.
One of the people who could help them with that is a certain Mino Raiola, who represents a number of important players around Europe, like Everton’s Moise Kean.
The forward currently made headlines by breaking quarantine rules in England, leading to a public statement and reprimand from Everton, and he isn’t exactly in their good books.
We mention the Italy international, as La Nazione explain he could be one of the players on the move this summer, as the super agent ‘tries to bring him back to Italy’.
Making some room for Kean could be Justin Kluivert, as Raiola could also be planning ‘a trip’ for the young Dutchman, with Fiorentina potentially reaping the benefits there.
It’s all a bit complicated, but we all know the agent likes to move his players around when he gets the chance, and while this summer could be a bit more complicated than others, there will always be takers for his clients.
First on the list, however, would be Giacomo Bonaventura, who is out of contract in the summer, and could allow Fiorentina an in with Raiola, starting the whole process that could see Kluivert in purple and the Everton starlet return to Italy, this time in its capital.
Got it?
