Erik Sviatchenko to FC Copenhagen is a rumour which pops up with regular occurrence, and usually with good meaning.
Danish newspaper BT report Sviatchenko has been spotted at Copenhagen airport, just a few days after the same newspaper reported an offer had been lodged with Celtic.
FCK have sent an offer to Celtic of around £2.8m, but the Scottish Premiership club are demanding more, especially after Leicester City were prepared to pay several times that amount.
Earlier this month it was reported in Denmark that ‘internal disputes’ at Leicester City had led to the collapse of Sviatchenko’s Celtic exit.
The Danish newspaper have asked Ståle Solbakken if the Celtic player arriving in Denmark means an announcement is on the way. FCK’s manager answered: “We do not comment on any travel plans.”
Erik Sviatchenko has been edged of Brendan Rodgers’ key plans at Celtic Park, and an exit wouldn’t be a surprise.
