Earlier on Wednesday, we covered a report from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg which stated Fulham had been refusing to give the final green light so Joao Palhinha can join Bayern Munich.

Despite the midfielder having already passed his medical with the Bundesliga side, and the transfer fee and personal terms being agreed, the Premier League club were slowing things down.

That was due to having to sort out some final details with the midfielder’s camp, although the specifics of that weren’t detailed.

Well, now it appears the issues have been resolved, with the same German journalist now saying it’s all done and Palhinha has been given permission by Fulham to sign his contract.

That deal will last until 2028, with the option for a further season, and the contract can be signed digitally… meaning Palhinha doesn’t need to stray too far from the beach.
