Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sasa Kalajdzic is already winning fans at new club Eintracht Frankfurt, after joining the German side on loan this week.
That’s according to Frankfurter Rundschau, who say the Austrian will be ‘the hope’ for Frankfurt in the second half of the season.
They explain that the striker played ‘the media keyboard skilfully’ in his presentation this week, knowing how to make an impression and doing it, at least among the fans.
He’ll have to prove himself on the field, something he hasn’t been able to do for Wolves so far but will be handed the chance to do so as he has no competition up front in the near future.
He’ll have to change his game to accommodate the giant striker and certainly improve his side’s crossing, with them currently posting the lowest number in the league in that department.
They’re optimistic nonetheless and so is the Wolves man, who is seemingly delighted to have secured the move after a difficult time at Wolves.
“It took a while, but now it worked. I’m happy to finally wear the eagle on my chest and have a great second half of the season. Forza SGE,” he said.
“I don’t have a bad goal instinct, and my height makes me more dangerous in the air than one or the other. I can offer things that perhaps not everyone can offer – also because of my stature.
“I was really excited and happy. I knew then that this was going in that direction. The feeling is the most important thing for me, and the feeling is what decides.”
