Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are both showing an interest in Besiktas’ Semih Kılıçsoy but will need €25m to get him.
That’s according to Star, who say both Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are both interested in 19-year-old forward.
The newspaper reports that Kılıçsoy has ‘attracted the attention of European clubs’ with his performances this season, with one goal and four assists in 16 games in all competitions this season.
He’s very much enjoying a ‘breakthrough’ for the Turkish club and is already a full international with the Turkish national team.
While those numbers this season are nothing to write home about and consistent form has been hard to come by, there is a ‘high probability’ that he will be leaving Besiktas in the near future.
He was already the subject of interest in the summer transfer window and is ‘preparing to open a new page’ in his career in one of the big leagues in Europe.
Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are just two of several to show an interest in him and Besiktas are open to a sale as the player is not considered key by manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
They also know they can get a ‘serious transfer fee’ for him and spend this elsewhere. They’ve set their sights on earning at least €25m.
Whether Aston Villa or Nottingham Forest would be willing to pay that isn’t mentioned, but they are interested and Besiktas are open to a sale.
