On Thursday, we covered an article regarding AC Milan’s interest in Christian Pulisic, who is yet another name that Chelsea are trying to get rid of this summer.

The USA international has attracted a few suitors because of his undeniable talent, but the Blues have other plans, and Calciomercato bring the latest on the negotiations with the aforementioned Serie A side.

Having already offloaded Ruben Loftus-Cheek to the Italians, Chelsea are looking to do the same with Pulisic, but a bit of work still needs to be done when it comes to the transfer fee.

The Italian website explain that while the two clubs ‘are friends’ and there is a ‘willingness to try and close the deal’, there is still a ‘large distance’ between supply and demand.

As things stand, Chelsea do not want to go ‘below €28m’, and Milan are reluctant to go ‘above the €18m’ mark for the time being.

Right now, the distance between the two parties is of €10m, which is still considerable, regardless of how much money the Italians might be making from the sale of Sandro Tonali.

Therefore, the ‘will of the American winger’ is a factor Milan are trying to use to their advantage, as well as the fact the forward has ‘already give his yes’ to the move to Milan.

That’s why the Serie A club are ‘ready to go all in’ for him, and just need to bridge that €10m gap.
