Manchester United have set their sights on Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga, according to a surprise claim from Spain.
Bernabéu Digital, a website dedicating its coverage to Los Blancos, state the Red Devils have expressed interest in the 22-year-old.
They claim this is their own information and report that Manchester United have made contact through intermediaries.
Earlier this month, Rubén Amorim arrived at Old Trafford, to replace Erik ten Hag, and the report states the Premier League side are ‘willing to take out the chequebook’ to sign key players.
The France international is one of them and his entourage are aware that Manchester United are showing interest.
It’s claimed the midfielder is ‘flattered’ by the interest shown by one of the top clubs in the world but isn’t considering leaving Real Madrid. Last November, he signed a new deal until 2029 and wants to continue at the club for a long time.
As often with the Spanish media, there’s the distinct possibility this is all about highlighting Real Madrid’s attraction.
