It looks like the saga is finally over and Dimitri Payet is signing for Marseille. West Ham have been insistent for a while that Marseille wouldn’t get their former player back without a fight, but now it seems everyone is on the same page.

RMC journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi who is as reliable as they come on these things, says there’s been an agreement reached, and there’ll be further progress on completing the move this afternoon.
Bouhafsi says Payet will sign a deal either for four and a half years or five and a half years, the player is set for his medical.
It’s rather convenient for Payet after L’Equipe reported on Sunday morning the West Ham player was spending the weekend in France, given permission to have some time off by his current club.
According to the claims, Marseille will present Payet on Monday.
