Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has been repeatedly linked with a move to Barcelona despite the Premier League champions talking the possibility down whenever given the chance to do so.
The Citizens played the La Liga side in a friendly at the Camp Nou last week and the 28-year-old’s chances of ending up at the Catalan club was again a topic of discussion, both before and after the charity match.
On several occasions, Pep Guardiola himself has ruled out a move for the midfielder, but that has not stopped reports, especially from the Catalan media, continuing to insist there is a possibility for the Blaugrana to sign Silva before the window closes.
“Bernardo plays today and stays at City,” Estiarte told RAC1, relayed by Sport.
Despite the Catalan media insisting Barca still have a chance, Manchester City officials are now continuously denying Silva’s exit.
