Tottenham Hotspur have now shifted their focus to Dejan Kulusevski, after losing out on Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Adama Traoré, who is all set to join Barcelona.
On Friday, La Repubblica reported the north London club have ‘stormed into pole’ position to sign the Juventus player.
Later that day, TuttoMercatoWeb then explained the Serie A side and Spurs have ‘reached an agreement’ on the figures of the deal, but not on the formula for a transfer.
The agreement reached between the two clubs includes a €1m loan fee and another €30m to buy him. The Old Lady want a mandatory purchase option, while Antonio Conte’s side are looking only for an option to retain the Sweden international beyond this season.
TMW’s claims are also echoed by Sport Mediaset. They state the 21-year-old is ‘ever closer to Tottenham’, who are trying to sort out the transfer formula with the Turin club.
Over at Sky Italia, they explain the Premier League side are ‘moving’ to sign the player. There is a possibility of working on a loan deal with obligation to buy, ‘under certain conditions’.
However, the report also states the ‘distance between the clubs is currently on the ransom figure of around €10m’.
TMW, Sport Mediaset and Ceccarini have all mentioned the same figures, while Sky Italia now say there is a difference of €10m between Tottenham and Juve to carry out Kulusevski’s signing.
