From the many stories we’ve covered about Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick in the past few days, most have mentioned Manchester City.
It was first said Pep Guardiola’s side are ‘excited’ with his potential, and City were also claimed to be one of the clubs who had got in touch with his entourage. Then it was reported they were preparing a ‘truckload of money’ for the signing.
“There was someone from Manchester City watching Endrick in Saturday’s game in Diadema, where he scored two goals,” said Wagner Ribeiro (via Central do Palmeiras).
“But Palmeiras fans can rest assured that he will sign his professional contract with Palmeiras as soon as he turns 16.”
Endrick is only 15-years-old and is playing in an U-21 tournament. Still, he scored four goals, even though he featured for only 45 minutes in each of his two games.
Manchester City are expected to have heavy competition for the signing, as the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid are all said to be interested in him as well.
