The Catalan club have made the Borussia Dortmund star a priority target for the summer.
In the event they find it difficult to complete Haaland’s transfer, the La Liga side will shift their focus to the Tottenham Hotspur striker or Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez.
Sport’s report on Barca identifying Kane as an alternative to the Norwegian is backed up by Sunday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo.
The newspaper names the Spurs star as one of the options identified by the Camp Nou side, along with Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku and Lyon’s Memphis Depay.
Regarding the England international, it’s stated he ‘could leave Tottenham’ and make a switch to the Spanish league. 
Online, Mundo Deportivo adds Kane ‘wants to leave’ the north London club, while José Mourinho’s side don’t want to sell him.
If the striker continues to insist he wants to leave, Spurs have made it clear they will not let him join another English club.
Mundo state the 27-year-old is a ‘very complete, proven’ goalscorer, wanting to extend his track record at a ‘great club’.
Whether or not Kane will be able to get a move away from Spurs remains to be seen.
