Everton striker Moise Kean wants to return to Juventus ‘at any cost’, but Everton are unwilling to let him go before first getting a replacement.
That’s according to Corriere Torino, who say that the Blues are now open to a loan deal so long as they can ensure they make their money back on the Italian.
Kean has been heavily linked with a return to Juventus for several weeks, having struggled to adapt to life in England since moving from Juve last summer.
The Italian giants are keen to bring him back but, with finances tight at the club, it has been made clear throughout that they do not have the finances to satisfy Everton’s demands.
Kean’s agent, Mino Raiola, has been working to find a solution that suits all parties and so the potential deal has been in limbo, with most newspapers saying it would be one to keep an eye out for at the end of the transfer window.
Corriere Torino now cover the situation and say that Everton have changed their stance somewhat.
They are now open to the two-year loan that Juventus would like but are refusing to ‘give discounts’ and ‘wants the certainty’ that they will get €25m for the striker at some point in the future.
Likewise, they are also insisting that they want to sign a replacement first, which is just common sense really.
There’s no mention of who that may be, or how Juventus have responded to these demands, but it appears the door is now open for the deal, with Kean desperate to return to his former club.
