Nottingham Forest have been in contact with Paris Saint-Germain about a move for defender Loïc Mbe Soh.
Le Parisien report that the youngster is set to leave the club after failing to reach an agreement about a long-term extension to his current deal.
His deal in Paris expires next summer and ‘received a proposal’ last week that would have tied him down until 2024.
However, negotiations between himself and PSG failed to come to a positive conclusion, so both have decided to go their separate ways.
Caen and Le Havre have already ‘inquired’ about a loan move for the player while Bordeaux have also ‘shown an interest’.
There are also clubs in both Spain and England who are keen on his signature, and one of those from across the Channel is Nottingham Forest.
Le Parisien say they have ‘clearly positioned’ themselves to bring Soh in this summer and technical director François Modesto ‘recently contacted’ PSG to find out the conditions they’d need to meet to make a transfer happen.
What those are, aren’t yet known, but it seems his presence at Nottingham Forest, and that of manager Sabri Lamouchi, could play their part in luring the Frenchman to the club.
