On April 9th, claims came from Italy of West Ham United and Everton interest in Ola Aina.

Originally moving to Torino on loan from Chelsea, Oina’s switch was then made permanent, and he’s impressed enough to attract interest from elsewhere.

West Ham were presented as seeing the right-back as a long term replacement for Pablo Zabaleta.

Both English clubs had reportedly already ‘knocked on the door’ of the Turin club’s offices for the 23-year-old, and after signing him for €10m from Chelsea, his value was estimated at €18m.

Calciomercato have carried on where Gazzetta dello Sport left things, and they reiterate West Ham and Everton are keen.

They explain Torino won’t be offering any discounts on Aina when the summer transfer window comes. The €10m figure paid to Chelsea is reiterated, however, it’s stated the Turin club won’t accept less than that same figure.

So €10m instead of €18m. That sounds like a very good deal given how he’s impressed.
