Kai Havertz has enjoyed a good season with Bayer Leverkusen, managing 10 goals and eight assists in all competitions.
The Germany international’s performances have seen him linked with top European clubs, including the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City from the Premier League.
Sky Deutschland now explains about clubs who are still interested in the attacking midfielder and also those sides who are no longer considered as an option by the 20-year-old.
Regarding Pep Guardiola’s side, it’s claimed a move to the Etihad has become ‘less interesting’ for Havertz because of City’s ban from European competitions for the next two seasons.
Although the English champions are not on top of Havertz’s list, it’s to be noted there has been no concrete reports discussing City’s interest in the Bundesliga star.
It was earlier suggested that Leverkusen will demand in excess of €100m to sanction Havertz’s sale and this was before football was hit because of the Coronavirus crisis.
Sky, however, reckons no top club would now pay a sum of €100m for Havertz, whose will to take the next step in the summer hasn’t changed.
The report adds a move to Bayern Munich is ‘still an option’, while Manchester United and Real Madrid are also interested in Havertz.
