Tuttosport claim those at Juventus shouldn’t be surprised if their director of football, Fabio Paratici is seen whistling ‘God Save the Queen’ at Continassa.
Paratici has made a few trips to England over the past few weeks to deal with the transfer of players to Premier League, and also with signing Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United.
One of the players the Old Lady want to offload is Joao Cancelo, and the right-back has been a target for Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s side need to offload Danilo before bringing in Cancelo and the Etihad club had offered the Brazilian to the Serie A winners earlier in the window.
Juve had then turned it down.
Tuttosport claims City have once again offered Danilo and Juve are considering it now. The exchange operation is key for City to sign Cancelo.
Maurizio Sarri’s side value the defender at €55m and Danilo is valued at €18m. However, City want to sell him for €30m.
It means Juve end up earning an additional €25m and they would probably accept the player plus cash deal, as long as it’s weighted enough towards them.
