For some unknown reason, the Italian press, and those feeding off it, do not want to let go of the idea that Liverpool are interested in Paulo Dybala.

While there’s talk of big offers flying around, there’s also the unlikely swap deal involving Mohamed Salah, which, let’s be honest, isn’t going to happen.

TuttoMercatoWeb point out as much in an article on Friday, stating that despite Liverpool’s interest in the Argentine, Jürgen Klopp doesn’t want to hear about his Egyptian superstar leaving Anfield.

This has led the ‘exchange’ being ‘frozen’, with the German manager putting his foot down to avoid his squad being torn apart at the end of the season.

Considering how well the Reds have performed this season, getting rid of the forward would almost be idiotic, even if they haven’t relied on him quite as much compared to their previous campaign.

It’s understandable that a team like Liverpool would be interested in Dybala, especially when they wanted Nabil Fékir over the summer.

The Juventus forward has been out of form in recent months, primarily due to Max Allegri having to work around a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, there’s been little to suggest Dybala wants out in Turin, and all this appears to be simply transfer talk to fill pages and garner clicks between now and the summer.

Oh, we almost forgot: Bayern Munich (wanting to replace Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben) and Inter are also apparently interested.
