Leaving by Sunderland after he was unable to find himself a new club, Didier Ndong has been looking all over the place for a new home to play football in.
Sent all over the world by the media, with a rumour even suggesting he was offered a contract by a team in the Welsh Premier League, it seems the former Black Cat will be returning to France in the end.
Linked with a move to Guingamp over the past few days, there was the small problem of Sunderland getting £3.5m if the player found himself a new side in the next transfer window, but it seems that has now been solved.
On Friday morning, the Ligue 1 side took to their social media to announce to their fans an agreement had been reached with the League One side for the box to box midfielder’s transfer, who should now be available to play for them from January 1st onwards.

Guingamp are currently in desperate need of reinforcements, sitting 20th in the French league, at least six points from safety with just under half of the games gone this season.
Whether Didier Ndong, who hasn’t played professional football for over a year is the answer to their problems remains to be seen, but he knows the league well, having previously played there with Lorient before moving to the Stadium of Light.
