Turkish club Besiktas are in the race to sign Nantes forward Yacine Bammou, according to claims in France. The Morocco international is surplus to requirements with the Ligue 1 side, and has also been linked with a move to Leeds United and Aston Villa this summer.
Tribune Nantaise have reported Besiktas are in talks with Nantes to sign Bammou before the transfer deadline next week. Bammou is no longer in the plans of the Nantes coaching staff, and with Besiktas keen to bolster their attacking options in this window the 24-year-old is an option.
The Turkish giants are expected to announce the signing of Manchester City star Samir Nasri today, and have been linked with Chelsea forward Loic Remy in recent weeks.
Leeds United and Aston Villa are two clubs who have been showing an interest in Bammou this summer, with recent claims Nantes will listen to offers for the player.
Bammou watched from the substitute bench during Nantes defeat to Monaco last weekend, and was brought off in the first game of the season against Dijon.
