Spanish outlet AS comes up with story today listing the key points for Leeds United’s success this season.

The Championship side have been attracting worldwide attention since the signing of manager Marcelo Bielsa, and now their good form is only increasing the coverage from the foreign media.

AS names ball possession; their left wing; strong defence; shots on target; the team’s Spaniards’ and Kemar Roofe’s goals as the recipe for the Whites’ great form.

One of the biggest highlights is when the author speaks of the left-side, where fullback Barry Douglas has been impressing. He claims the player ‘needed a mention’ for defending pretty well and being an assist leader.

The defence is obviously another positive point, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side have kept a clean sheet in four of their eight games, and are currently unbeaten in the league.

Leeds United are currently on top of the Championship table with 18 points after eight fixtures. They now prepare to face Birmingham City at Elland Road next Saturday.
