Crystal Palace continued their difficult start to the season with defeat against Liverpool on Saturday. Oliver Glasner hasn’t managed to get the Eagles into the same verve he had them in at the end of last season and it’s starting to cause concern.
Following the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool, Glasner insisted Crystal Palace were very unfortunate not to get a penalty against Arne Slot’s side, and it was a fair point to make.
The London club were also unfortunate to lose Daniel Muñoz to injury.
Now sees the start of another international break, and in Colombia they’re already worried Muñoz may need to be replaced in Néstor Lorenzo’s squad.
Sunday’s edition of La Opinion reports the Crystal Palace player will undergo a CT scan today and then a decision will be made by Lorenzo.
Muñoz will absolutely want to join up with Colombia if he can. He’s spoken again in recent days about how hurt he was to miss out on the Copa America final due to suspension, and he’s been fighting to shut his critics up since.
