Juventus have beaten Manchester City to a midfielder, and it isn’t Emre Can.
The player in question is PSV’s Leandro Fernandes, who, according to Corriere dello Sport, took the decision to move to Italy instead of going to the north of England, where he would most likely end up loaned somewhere over the next few seasons.
Deciding to go to a club where he’ll have a better chance of making the first-team in the near future, the 18-year-old, who has yet to make an appearance for the Dutch side, is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Serie A outfit, and will undergo medical tests on Wednesday.
