West Ham have been previously linked with a move for AC Milan’s Yunus Musah.

In the past, it was claimed that the Hammers have been willing to invest a significant fee in the American. Now, it seems as if they have made an approach for the ex-Valencia player.

Daniele Longo reports on the USA international’s future and Napoli’s interest in bringing him to the Maradona Stadium in the summer.

The journalist claims the 22-year-old has agreed personal terms ahead of a potential move to the Naples side and talks are ongoing between Napoli and Milan about a permanent transfer.

Meanwhile, West Ham have tried to insert themselves in the scenario by attempting to hijack the Partenopei’s approach.

Despite that, everything points towards the fact that Napoli are at an ‘advanced stage’ in their talks and a fee of around €25m is close to being agreed.

The Italian champions are keen on satisfying manager Antonio Conte’s demands this summer and that is a key reason behind their rapid move for Musah.

West Ham seem set to miss out and they should now pursue other targets.
