West Ham United could do battle with Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen for Malick Thiaw this summer.
That’s according to Tuttosport, via Milan News, who report that West Ham are interested in the AC Milan defender ahead of the summer.
They report that Thiaw’s future could be far away from Milan, with him resigned to the bench over the last few weeks and that seen as a sign he is no long a ‘central element’ of the Rossoneri’s plans moving forwards.
That will be decided by the new sporting director at Milan, who is yet to be appointed, but in the meantime, there will be market movements around the defender.
Tuttosport report they are already underway and West Ham are one of the sides who are interested in Milan’s number 28.
They are not the only clubs in the mix, though, with both Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen also ‘on the trail’ of the defender and thinking of take him back to Germany after his time with Schalke.
They would, presumably, be far more attractive destinations than West Ham given the Hammers’ struggles this season, but Graham Potters’ side are in the mix, nonetheless.
