Wednesday’s edition of A Bola reports it’s inevitable the player is leaving, however, he’s ignoring everything until after Sporting’s cup final on Sunday. The newspaper goes on to state Arsenal remain the main candidates for the Swedish striker. That move is expected to ‘start to take shape’ after the cup final.
O Jogo have Manchester United interest reported on their front page, yet inside make it clear that’s according to ‘news published in England and France’. They go on to say that whilst Ruben Amorim’s side could be a competitor, in theory right now, it’s Arsenal who are ‘in the lead’.
Wednesday’s edition of Record doesn’t even mention the claims from France and elsewhere.
