Brøndby IF signed Mileta Rajović from Watford on a loan deal late in the summer window.

The striker has made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Danish club, scoring six goals and registering one assist in the process. The Hornets have an option to cut short his loan stay at Brøndby in the winter market.

Earlier today, we covered comments from Watford owner Gino Pozzo, who said the English club are yet to make a decision over recalling the 25-year-old in January.

The Italian also stated the Championship side are following his performances for Brøndby and are pleased with his performances.

Tipsbladet have been speaking to Brøndby manager Jesper Sørensen over the possibility of losing the Watford owned player next month. They say Tom Cleverley’s side inserted a ‘special clause’ that allows them to bring Rajović back to Vicarage Road in January.

According to Sørensen, he doesn’t want to give too much thought over potentially losing the Watford man.

“We’re not in control right now. And I can’t relate to it any differently than that. So, I don’t have much to say about that. Things I can’t do much about, I don’t really care about them,” he said.

The manager has also insisted the Danish club will be prepared if Watford decide to recall the frontman.

“It’s a scenario, so of course we’re planning based on all possible scenarios and all the possible outcomes that we need to cover. It goes without saying,” Sørensen explained.
