Watford’s Mileta Rajović is set to complete a move to Legia Warsaw this summer.

That’s according to Meczyki.pl, who back up claims from elsewhere about the Polish club’s interest in the striker.

They state the Watford player has been a target for Legia Warsaw for a while as they feel he’s a perfect fir for their manager, Edward Iordănescu.

Therefore, Legia Warsaw have decided to ‘spend a fortune’ on the 25-year-old and the report states they will pay €3m to the Hornets. Although the figure isn’t high by English football standards, it’ll be a club-record signing for the Polish club.

Legia Warsaw believe the Dane will be able to gradually develop over the years. This, plus the aforementioned reasons would have convinced them to take him away from Watford.

Journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk covered this report, and he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to provide additional details.

According to Włodarczyk, ‘everything is agreed’ for Rajović to leave Watford and join Legia Warsaw.

He adds the attacker is scheduled to arrive in Warsaw next week, likely for the medical and to carry out other transfer formalities. Rajović will sign a four-year contract with his new club.
