On Wednesday, we covered a claim from Greece that Odysseas Vlachodimos would leave Nottingham Forest if his situation at City Ground didn’t improve.
The goalkeeper was signed last summer, but clearly didn’t convince Steve Cooper or Nuno Espírito Santo, as the club then went out of their way to bring in Matz Sels.
That has clearly frustrated the goalkeeper, whose unhappiness has now reached Germany, where journalist Florian Plettenberg brings his information to the table on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He corroborates the claims that Vlachodimos is ‘unhappy’ at Nottingham Forest and wants to leave the club in the next transfer window.
It’s said the Tricky Trees ‘would give him the green light’ despite him having a contract at the club until 2027, and would ask for a fee of €4-5m.
The desire from Vlachodimos’ end would be to find a club where he is the undisputed number one, which clearly isn’t the case at the Premier League club these days.
