Two months ago, we covered claims from Sweden that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Viktor Đukanović. It was also reported Spurs technical director Johan Lange has been following the Hammarby IF player for a year and has taken an interest in him.
The forward has scored two goals and registered an assist from nine games this year.
Tottenham are still said to be chasing the 20-year-old if a report from Fotboll Direkt is to be believed.
The report states Hammarby turned down a SEK 100m [€8.6m] offer from Lazio in January and their ‘goal this summer’ is to collect SEK 150-200m [€12.9-17.2m] for him.
Club Brugge are showing strong interest in the attacker and sent a scout to watch him closely live in action against Elfsborg on Monday. The Jupiler Pro League side are well aware of Hammarby’s request and are capable of meeting it.
Fotboll Direkt point out there was interest from FC Lorient, Tottenham and PSV Eindhoven in the past. It’s further explained that the Eredivisie side and Spurs are ‘still in the picture’ to secure the Montenegrin’s services.
The report adds Đukanović, for his part, is cautious and wants ‘to bide his time’.
