Tottenham Hotspur’s Emerson Royal is set to complete a move to AC Milan this summer.
On Friday, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio stated the Serie A side have agreed a €15m with Spurs. Later that day, he said the two clubs have signed the documents related to the right-back’s transfer, and his medical has been booked
Di Marzio didn’t specify when the Tottenham player will undergo the medical tests, and this information is now provided by Calciomercato.
The Rossoneri have been chasing the 25-year-old all summer and they have sorted out the last details of the operation with the north London club, to sign him for €15m plus €2m bonuses.
Emerson has been the Italian club’s first choice for the right-back slot, and they decided to step up after Alessandro Florenzi suffered a serious knee injury during the pre-season.
The Brazilian has been keen to join Paulo Fonseca’s side and therefore ‘gave up several offers’, including ‘very rich ones’ from Saudi Arabia.
It’s claimed Emerson will travel to Italy on Sunday and a day later he will have his Milan medical and sign the contract, to secure a permanent exit from Tottenham.
