In the last summer window, Tottenham Hotspur signed Micky van de Ven from VfL Wolfsburg and he’s excelled in his debut season at the north London club.
Spurs could return to the Bundesliga to further bolster their defence, despite signing Radu Drăgușin from Genoa in the winter market.
That’s at least what SportBild are reporting, and add that Tottenham have set their sights on Bayer Leverkusen’s Piero Hincapié.
Tottenham are said to be ‘courting’ the player, so trying to get him to sign for them, with the aim obviously being the summer window.
SportBild state Spurs need ‘at least €40m’ to sign the 22-year-old, and Alonso and Rolfes could invest the money on strengthening their squad. This suggests Leverkusen are also willing to part ways with him.
The report claims if Tah stays, the South American’s ‘transfer is not out of question’.
The north London club could keep an eye on the developments around Tah’s renewal, to know their chances of signing Hincapié.
