Nottingham Forest are keen on signing Anderlecht’s Moussa N’Diaye in the winter market to improve their defence.

On December 2nd, Africa Foot stated the left-back is the priority target for the Reds, who are ready to make an offer in January.

It was also said Nottingham Forest have to convince Anderlecht as they are reluctant to sell him.

Three days later, Anderlecht Online backed up the Premier League side’s willingness to submit a bid for the 22-year-old. They also reported the Belgian club want over €10m and N’Diaye needs to be convinced for the deal to take shape in this window.

D Sports in Senegal had a chat with the fullback, who joined the Jupiler Pro League side from Barcelona in 2022. The interview is mainly focused on his time in Spain but the defender was also asked specifically about Nottingham Forest links.

When responding to the latter, he said: “There are discussions, but I leave that to my agent. I remain focused on my performances. But as a league, I love Spain. My dream is to go back there.”

The Senegalese missed the second half of last season due to an injury and since regaining full fitness, he’s cemented his place at Anderlecht this season, making 25 appearances so far.

“I’m in a very good dynamic. I hope to continue like this. Last year, an injury kept me away from the field for five months. When I returned, my replacement had emerged. I worked hard to regain my place,” N’Diaye explained.
