Leicester City are willing to sanction whatever deal Real Betis want this move to help Ayoze Pérez return to Spain.
That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who say the forward would only be signing for the La Liga side on a six month deal regardless of what type of deal it is.
They explain that Betis first need to get players out of the squad if they are to be able to sign Pérez and they are working on that front, with a consensus between the players involved and the club.
That will open the door for Pérez and he will either be released from Leicester or, failing that, loaned until the end of the season. Either would not be a ‘major problem’ as the Foxes have agreed to let him go.
Whatever happens, Pérez would only be signing with Betis for the remainder of the season anyway as both he and Betis have agreed that it would be the ‘best thing for everyone’.
Logically, if things were to go well then he would sign an extension in the summer and become one of the ‘flagships’ of the new project.
That remains to be seen and any arrival this month is dependent on several factors, but Leicester are open to any deals to help Pérez return to his homeland.
