Manchester United may have to start worrying about the competition for Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana.
An exclusive report from CalcioMercato.it today claims the player is drawing interest from Saudi Arabia, where Al Nassr now start moving for him.
It’s claimed the club made a request for information with a ‘letter of interest’, and Onana and his staff have notified been notified about that.
The story says the goalkeeper wasn’t strongly moved by the approach, as he’s happy at Inter Milan and continues to see what will come out of Manchester United’s pursuit.
Now as Onana’s agents try to evaluate the entire situation, there’s an obvious piece missing in the puzzle, and that’s the offer from the Red Devils.
Calcio Mercato points out that Manchester United and Inter Milan chiefs had been ‘chatting’ in Ibiza, discussing the move for days, but the official offer was still not delivered.
That means Onana’s entourage don’t even know what to make of the scenario so far, and the Italian media starts wondering when Erik ten Hag’s side will make their move.
