Everton have identified FC Nantes’ Moses Simon as a target for the summer window.

That’s according to Africa Foot, who state the Premier League club are pushing to sign the winger.

He scored seven goals and registered nine assists from 28 league games this season and has attracted interest from elsewhere.

Everton are one of them and have sent their official to follow Moses live in action for the Ligue 1 side in recent weeks.

His performances would have convinced the Toffees as the report states they are working behind the scenes to try and secure the Nigeria international’s services.

According to Africa Foot, the attacker has asked his entourage to do what’s necessary for him to join David Moyes’ side in the next window.

Transfermakrt currently values Simon at €12m. Despite this, the French club are reluctant to sanction his sale and will change their stance if they were to receive a €15m bid.

Nantes may not be in a position to stand firm because the player will have a year left on his contract in the summer.

Everton could take advantage of Simon’s contract situation to lower the price, provided they want to acquire his signature.
