On Wednesday, Tuttosport stated Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus have sat down at the table to discuss a potential deal for Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson in the next window.
A fresh report from today’s Tuttosport provides an insight into the 26-year-old’s desire for the future, after Tottenham, Juve and Inter Milan showed interest.
The forward has starred for the Serie A side this season, managing 15 goals and five assists from 32 games.
Juve and Inter are impressed with his performances, while the latter haven’t yet taken any firm steps in the race to sign the player.
Tottenham, for their part, are following the player with interest, and they seem to have received encouragement in the pursuit of the Icelandic international.
Gudmundsson, whose deal lasts until 2027, dreams of making a switch to the Premier League. Tuttosport further adds he hopes to receive a call from that league, where Spurs are in the picture to sign him.
The report also states the Genoa attacker would be willing to accept the Inter project, in order to play under Simone Inzaghi’s orders.
Gudmundsson dreaming of Premier League would give Tottenham an edge over others and they can fulfil his wish in the summer window.
