Norwich City are among the clubs chasing Lille’s Ichem Ferrah ahead of the summer transfer window.
The winger is a product of the Ligue 1 side’s academy, and they sent him on loan to FC Rouen in August 2024.
Last summer, Lille sanctioned another loan move to SC Cambuur. The 20-year-old’s fine displays for the second division Dutch club have caught Norwich City’s attention.
He scored 12 goals and contributed six assists from 35 league matches this season and played a key part in Cambuur’s promotion to the Eredivisie.
His league stats are as follows:

The youngster’s form saw him receive praise from the Dutch press and attract interest from elsewhere. The list is long, and it includes Norwich City, FC Copenhagen, Malmö FF, KRC Genk and KAA Gent, and all these clubs are ‘in the running’ to sign him.
In addition to this, Feyenoord recently sent a scout to watch the winger while unnamed French clubs are also in the mix. Having secured a promotion, SC Cambuur hope to retain him for another season, probably on a fresh loan deal.
Lille have to make a decision on Ferrah’s future as ‘phone hasn’t stopped ringing’ in their offices.
Their current manager, Bruno Génésio, has a contract until June and RMC Sport report he has informed the club of his desire to leave.
Foot Mercato now state the managerial uncertainty at Lille complicates the Frenchman’s chances of making it to the first team squad. Therefore, the trend is for him to move elsewhere in the upcoming window.
Canaries looking at options
On April 23rd, Sport Witness relayed news of Norwich City’s interest in Frosinone right winger Fares Ghedjemis.
The Championship side are also in the running to sign Ichem Ferrah, who has a contract with Lille until 2027 and Transfermarkt value him at €900k.
This indicates Philippe Clement is looking to sign a new right winger for next season.
