Multiple transfer situations are turning into dramas as the window grows older and added stress is poured over ongoing sagas.

Luiz Henrique is very much in one of those situations. The Botafogo winger has been the subject of serious Fiorentina interest, but they’re apparently getting frustrated at Premier League clubs trying to muscle in and snatch the Brazilian for themselves, reports Saturday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport.

First it was Crystal Palace who were reportedly trying to take Henrique, and that link was perhaps inevitable given that John Textor is a shareholder with both Botafogo and the London club. Then it was Nottingham Forest, and now it’s Newcastle United looking to beat them both and all others.

Not only are Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United causing transfer irritation for Fiorentina, but Zenit have also joined the party.

It’s Zenit and Newcastle who are the latest two presented as swooping into the situation.

Botafogo are said to want €30m ‘cash’ for the 24-year-old and La Viola will try to get as close to that as possible. However, they’ve put a deadline of 48-72 hours on the situation as they grow tired of interest – or at least claimed interest – from elsewhere.

Whilst interest from the trio is presented as genuine, it can’t be ruled out Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United are being used to pile the pressure on Fiorentina.
