Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat ‘awaits’ Manchester United as he travels to England with the Italian club for clashes with Newcastle and Nice.
That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who explain that Manchester United are yet to make ‘the right offer’ for the Moroccan international.
They report that Amrabat is set to join his teammates on their trip to England tomorrow as they continue their pre-season preparations.
He’s eagerly awaiting the chance to complete a move to Manchester United, with them set to make the ‘decisive leap’ for the player.
The belief is that it is only a ‘matter of time’ before the Red Devils make the right bid for him, which would be an offer in the region of €30m.
That’s yet to happen and the midfielder continues to train and play for Fiorentina, although he has ‘clearly expressed’ his desire to join Manchester United behind the scenes.
That won’t happen until a suitable offer arrives, but the belief is that United will make the right offer eventually and even in Morocco they are ‘convinced’ he will be playing at Old Trafford next season.
In the meantime, Amrabat has been receiving offers from other clubs, but he is only focused on signing for a top club, specifically Manchester United.
