The Italian media suddenly got very optimsitc about Rasmus Kristensen’s transfer from Leeds United to AS Roma.
On Tuesday afternoon, it was journalist Gianluca Di Marzio who claimed the move is ‘now closer’, with the player about to join the Giallorossi on a ‘dry loan’.
Now it’s time for Gazzetta Dello Sport to feature a more complete story about this situation, claiming his arrival from Leeds is ‘a matter of days if not hours’.
Kristensen’s contract with the Whites reportedly has a clause which allows him to leave on loan in case of relegation, and that’s what Roma will use to sign him.
Gazzetta say the contacts are ‘increasingly dense’ and the player could complete the move this week.
Meanwhile, Calcio Mercato also show up to say that even though the talks had slowed down for a few days, Kristensen is ‘one step away’ from completing the switch, as the talks have ‘reached the last stages’.
Since Roma don’t work on a permanent deal, all they need to do is find a personal agreement with the player and them take him out of Leeds on loan.
