Last summer, Manchester United signed Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina on a loan deal with an option to buy.
The Serie A side are curious to know whether the Red Devils will make his stay permanent at the end of this season.
That according to Calciomercato, who state the buying option for Manchester United is set at €25m plus €5m in bonuses.
The Morocco international hasn’t started in the Premier League since Manchester United’s goalless draw against Liverpool in December.
Since returning from AFCON, the 27-year-old has been restricted to less than 100 minutes of action, including 90 minutes in the FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
Amrabat has made 20 appearances this season and the report states he hasn’t been convincing at Manchester United.
It’s said Erik ten Hag’s side will make a ‘final decision’ on the Fiorentina owned player’s future ‘in a month’.
Calciomercato claim the current indication is that Amrabat and Manchester United will part ways in the summer, with ‘big regrets on both sides’.
This would certainly not please Fiorentina, as they will end up losing €25m and also have to find a new club for the Moroccan in the summer.
