Ole Gunnar Solskjær is interested in reuniting with Marcus Rashford at Besiktas if he forward does leave Manchester United this month.

That’s according to journalist Gökmen Ozcan, who reports that Solskjær is ‘personally interested’ in the 27-year-old.

He reports that Solskjær’s ‘crazy transfer target’ is Rashford this month. The forward has been consistently linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent weeks.

Barcelona and AC Milan have both been credited with an interest in him, but neither are yet to make a move to get him out of Old Trafford. In fact, several reports have made it clear that there is a growing possibility Rashford could end up remaining at his boyhood club.

Solskjær  could change that, though. He was appointed at Besiktas this week and it seems is planning a strong end to the transfer window at the Turkish club.

Ozcan reports that he’s made Rashford his ‘crazy transfer target’ and is ‘personally interested’ in taking the 27-year-old to Turkey this month.

This was something that Solskjær seemed to be aware would be coming this week, as he was asked about Manchester United transfers earlier this week.

“I’ve come from Manchester United, so there will be transfer news like this. Casemiro and Rashford are very good players, but I haven’t had any contact with them,” said the Besiktas boss.

We, therefore, would suggest that it’s worth taking this latest with a pinch of salt for now, although it is something that all parties may explore later in the window if nothing else happens beforehand.
