Calciomercato report Juventus are set to have a ‘pyrotechnic final week’ of the transfer window. Basically, there’s going to be fireworks.
This morning, Nico Gonzalez has been pictured at the Turin club’s facilities as he prepares to complete his transfer from Fiorentina. That’s a situation which has dragged on for most of the summer and Juve are now getting their man.
In addition, Francisco Conceicao is arriving from FC Porto on loan costing €7m plus a potential €3m in bonuses. reports in Portugal have said Porto were adamant they wanted a mandatory, or near-mandatory, clause included.
Despite all of that, Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho has not been ruled out of the running for Juventus.
Erik ten Hag didn’t include the attacker in his Manchester United match-day squad for the loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, and despite claims earlier this summer of peace breaking out an exit is on the cards.
Juventus would only want Sancho on loan with an option to buy, which probably isn’t the kind of deal Manchester United were hoping for. However, it’s stated the Red Devils ‘do not want to participate in the payment’ of the player’s salary.
Given Juve wouldn’t cover the full amount, the 24-year-old would have to take a pay cut.
Sancho doesn’t look as necessary for Juventus after securing Conceicao, and they’re only likely to go for him on a good deal.
