AC Milan’s Malick Thiaw can leave the club in the summer transfer transfer window and there is interest from Tottenham, Newcastle United, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
Newcastle were linked with the German defender last summer but Eddie Howe’s side didn’t make an attempt for him, as Thiaw stayed at Milan.
Things can now change in the summer and Calciomercato.it have reported that the centre-back is a ‘main suspect’ to leave the Rossoneri in the next few months and as of now, Milan want a fee of €25m to €30m to sell him, and he’s expected to pack his bags soon.
Tottenham, Newcastle United, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest are ‘monitoring the situation’ of the player, with Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen having already come forward for the 23-year-old.
Milan believe that Thiaw is a player that they can sell in the easiest of ways because of his affordable salary. He will also help the Italian giants earn a major capital profit, as he joined from Schalke for a fee of only €7m in 2022.
The potential asking price might not be difficult to pay for any of Tottenham, Arsenal, Newcastle United or Nottingham Forest, but it is the competition from the Bundesliga that could be decisive in this situation.
