On Monday, Corriere dello Sport made it clear this week will be vital in Juventus’ move for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.

The newspaper reported talks between the two clubs were ongoing and Sancho had agreed to reduce his wage demands to push through a move to Turin.

TuttoSport now provide more on the potential transfer and state Manchester United haven’t put up any resistance to selling Sancho, are flexible with their approach, but that doesn’t mean there’s an agreement in place yet.

The Red Devils will have a ‘new call today’ with the Bianconeri to try and further reduce the differences between the two clubs. Should that be successful then they’ll turn to Sancho’s camp again and try to push that aspect forward too.

Juventus appear to be working on both fronts, Sancho’s camp and Manchester United, and trying to edge each along rather than finding a full agreement on one aspect first.

That feels a little all over the place and could be why this transfer appears to take two steps forward and one step back continually.
