Jadon Sancho may have returned to training at Manchester United, but his situation at the club remains unpredictable.
An update on this scenario is now brought by Sky Deutschland journalist Patrick Berger, who talks about Borussia Dortmund’s interest in having him again.
It’s said that following the loan spell last season, the Bundesliga side would like to get him back, but that’s ‘not expected’ to actually happen.
The report claims that even though Borussia Dortmund and Sancho want the reunion, Manchester United’s request, which stands at between €45m and €50m, is considered ‘too high’.
The Red Devils do not want to loan him again, so the interested clubs need the money to have a chance this summer.
Berger claims that besides Borussia Dortmund, Juventus are also keen on the signing, but both clubs would need big sales before thinking of making that investment.
Sancho is then expected to stay at Manchester United for now, where he and Erik ten Hag seem to found good terms for his comeback to the squad. Even though that may be a strategy to make him more valuable in the transfer window.
