According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray want Manchester City to reduce Ederson’s transfer fee.

The 31-year-old has been linked with a move to the Istanbul giants in recent weeks as they make it one of their priorities to bring in a new goalkeeper ahead of next season.

Ederson is expected to leave Manchester City this summer after the arrival of James Trafford from Burnley and there’s been many reports about interest from Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Sabah today report on the latest developments regarding Galatasaray’s pursuit for the Manchester City man and state the club want the Premier League side to reduce the Brazilian’s fee to €7-8m.

The former Benfica player is said to be Gala’s first choice going into next season, but if Manchester City aren’t willing to drop their valuation of the player, they could turn their attention to Inter Milan’s Yann Sommer.

Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu also reports Ederson has already agreed personal terms with Cimbom and now it’s a case of getting an agreement with Manchester City over the fee.

He made 40 appearances in all competitions last season and is contracted to Manchester City until June 2026
